Council Officers role call
X
Reading of the Minutes. Motion to accept the business meeting
minutes was put forward. The motion past by the membership.

A First Degree Exemplification was held with the help of
members of St. Luke’s Council. Three new members were welcomed into the
brotherhood. After the exemplification the business meeting was held.
X
We had two guests, Joe Sendelback, District #8 Deputy and John
Nussbaum, Regional District Deputy.

Knight’s Report:

Two members of our council made their Fourth Degree – Gilbert
Hendricks and Steve Krajnik.
X
Joe Sendelback presented Bill Wolf with the 2007 Service
Award.
X
John Peel presented the check for the proceeds from the BBQ
Booth at the Parish Fair to Bill Wolf.
X
Jim Haag, GK from St. Luke’s, thanked everyone for their help
in the Auto Raffle.
X
Family of the Month: John Steinauer and his son for their
work at Oktoberfest.
X
Knight of the Month: John Harrod for his work with Op LAMB

Several more members paid their dues this month.

Wayne Burgess has applied for a transfer into our Council. A
motion was made to accept him. The motion was seconded and carried.

Service
Programs:
X
Dave Demo reported that Operation Lamb 2007 held its second
street event on Friday, 10/12, Saturday, 10/13, and Sunday, 10/14.
Contributions of $996 were collected. This brings our total for the year to
$2,474.08. Thanks to all the brother knights to offered their time to help
in this effort!

The November Pancake breakfast was held on Sunday November 11th.
$430 was collected for the Holiday Food Basket Program.

Tom Smith reported that 150 to 175 bags of food have been
collected from the parish for the Holiday Food Basket Program. The baskets
will be collected by the 60 needy families on Sunday November 18th
at the shed. Baskets will also be collected for the Christmas Holiday
on December 16th.
Old
Business:
X
John Gunther reported “Senior Prom”, a social event for those
over 50 years old, has been scheduled for May. The theme will be “Stairway
to Heaven”. It will be a social event, not a fund raiser. Details will
follow.

John Gunther reported that the Council retreat will be
scheduled for April 5th and 6th. Contact him if you are interested.

John Gunther was looking for help to install the flag pole in
front of Raphael Hall on Saturday December 17th.
New
Business:
X
Volunteers are needed to cook for the Advent Family Breakfast
on December 15th.
X
Mark Parrish reminded everyone with email to apply for the
group email for electronic announcements from the Council.
X
Mark you calendars for the Annual Lenten Dinners sponsored by
our council and held each Friday of Lent. Help will be needed to prepare
and serve the food.

Degree Report:

A dinner will be held on Sunday November 18th to
welcome the new Fourth Degree members.
