Knights to Sell Roses on Mother's Day 2009 to Support Project Gabriel

The Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge is asking the Catholic faithful of Raleigh to join him during Lent in advocating for the protection of human life. To do our part, the Knights of Columbus at St. Raphael's will sell roses on Mother's Day (May 10, 2009) in support of Project Gabriel.  Help is needed for all English and Spanish masses.

Project Gabriel's mission is to help women who feel frightened and alone when facing an unexpected pregnancy. Volunteers or "Gabriel's Angels" work in teams to assist the mother-to-be by meeting her needs for baby items, acting as a mentor and offering spiritual/moral support.
